CHRISTIAN MOTIVATION
INTRODUCTION:
We usually consider motivation as that which gets an immediate response.
Some are discouraged when they do not get a response.
Jeremiah never got a response.
Some consider the Apostle Paul the greatest preacher other than Jesus.
What was his key to motivation?
Many have tried their own motivation. When it comes to preaching we can't rest on...side shows, gimmicks, and methods. Preach the Word.
In this lesson, let's look a Paul's way of motivating people and see where his motivation lay.
PAUL'S MOTIVES CENTERED IN GOD.
Eph. 5:1-2 - be imitators of God.
Romans 12:1-2 - be a living sacrifice to God.
Do everything to God's glory.
I Cor. 1:26-31.
I Cor. 10:31.
PAUL'S MOTIVES CENTERED IN CHRIST.
In correcting problems - I cor. 1:10.
In appealing to the ideal life - Phil. 2:1-8.
